Research
The
National Office for Suicide Prevention is committed
to supporting research in the areas of suicide research/prevention
and mental health promotion. A first ever national
suicide research meeting was held in May 2006 to
encourage the coordination of research activities
in this area.
The NOSP is currently preparing a national suicide
research programme to establish priorities, identify
support structures and determine standards in this
area. The programme will be available on this site
shortly.
In the meantime, selected recent peer-reviewed publications
that included members of the NOSP Advisory Group
as authors or co-authors are available below.
